Thank you to everyone who has checked out the Website, Read the first Blog, and Liked and Shared the Facebook page. I can already feel BBB gaining momentum, how exciting!
I wanted to give you all a better idea of how exactly Broody to Baby and Beyond is going to work moving forward.
In a nutshell… Broody to Baby and Beyond is going to be connecting Parents with all of the Support and Services they can get their hands on!
Our website, which is currently still in its infancy and under construction, will be constantly updated to include contact details and links to local Support Services in Plymouth and the surrounding area. You could call it a ‘Yellow Pages for Parents’ because soon enough you will be able to filter all of the listed Support by category making it easier for you to connect with whoever you need at any given time.
In addition to this online Portal Broody to Baby and Beyond are going to create events that bring you face to face with an array of Services that are on offer locally. This will give you the chance to meet in person and ask all the questions you may have before making any decisions. How awesome will that be?!
So it may seem like we’ve gone a bit quiet but I can assure you that there is an awful lot going on behind the scenes at the moment!!
Sign up to our Newsletter to be the first to hear about our exclusive Launch Event coming to a venue near you very soon.
Much Love, The BBB Team xXx
Hello, my name’s Laura and I am the creator of Broody to Baby and Beyond. Welcome to my very first Blog!
Firstly a little bit about me… I’m happily married apart from when my Husband breathes!! I’m a Mum to two gorgeous little girls aged 1 and 2 (I know, what was I thinking?!) and I work part time in a supermarket.
My road to parenthood wasn’t too bumpy but it wasn’t particularly smooth either. I experienced three miscarriages along the way, which hit me super hard. I’m a natural ‘fixer’ so I wanted answers and sought out all the support I could get along the way.
From the beginning I have been amazed by the variety of organisations I have needed to connect with as a Parent-To-Be and, of course, since becoming a Parent.
My personal journey, to name but a few, has included…
An Acupuncturist, an Endocrinologist, Private Sonographers, Counselors and a Sleep Consultant. I’ve completed Mini First Aid courses and composed my very first Will. I’ve attended Swimming, Gymnastic and Ballet lessons, Library sessions, Baby Sensory and Toddler classes.
I’m well aware that this list will grow indefinitely as my parenting journey continues and I welcome all of these services that help me along the way because without them I would be utterly lost!!!
What really annoys me is that I’ve found out about most of the above by word of mouth or randomly placed flyers. I’ve had to spend hours researching and reading patchy reviews in order to make my parenting decisions. Seriously, there has to be an easier way for Parents in the 21st Century! Parenthood is hard enough without relying on chance to connect you with the support and services that you need. So that’s why I’m putting everything I’ve got into Broody to Baby and Beyond.
Stay with me guys it’s going to be epic!
Much Love, Laura xxxxx
